Entry-Level Sales - B2B -Direct Hire Internal Position-not Contract

Work for a locally owned, debt free company who has been in the community for 21+ years.

We are looking for a Sales intern to help grow our business. The right person for this role will be motivated, energetic, and demonstrate an unparalleled level of ownership of their accounts and territories. This person will be driven to become a subject matter expert of the full suite of service offerings, the local market, and what it takes to fill an order. By developing an expertise, our Sales Intern will help forge partnerships with clients that lead to a deeper relationships, more complex programs, and increased revenue & profits.

Success in this role means growth and promotion! You will have the opportunity to get promoted into a Business Development Manager position.

What would you be selling?

This position is selling services across a wide range of disciplines, but primarily to manufacturers. We find that around 80% of businesses use our services in some way.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Solution Sales Specialist will help develop and Qualify Hot Prospects
  • In person and over the phone Cold Calling
  • Meeting and exceeding defined sales metrics on a weekly/monthly/annual basis
  • Building Programs and Writing Proposals
  • Solution Sales Specialist will be responsible for Formal and Informal Presentations
  • Budget Management/Ownership
  • Current account reviews, evaluations, and upsells
  • Solution Sales Specialist will participate in Facility walkthroughs (clerical and manufacturing)
  • Data Entry (CRM)
  • Collections

Desired Skills/ Experience

  • Excellent computer skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Strong Communication Skills- Written & Verbal
  • Organized and Detail Orientated
  • Strong desire to win every day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
