The Role


As a Senior CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist at Envato, you will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive CRM strategies that enhance customer engagement, drive retention, and support growth goals for Envato. With a focus on lifecycle communications, you will lead initiatives that enhance the customer journey. You will thrive in leveraging data to craft targeted campaigns that resonate with diverse customer segments. Collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders, you will develop, present and continuously improve lifecycle marketing communications for an optimal customer and brand experience. 


This is a 12 month, fixed term position.


What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and execute CRM strategies by planning and launching lifecycle campaigns to drive engagement, growth, and retention.
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics to identify actionable insights and opportunities for customer growth, incorporating industry trends and competitive analysis.
  • Use customer data for targeted segmentation to ensure messaging aligns with customer needs throughout their lifecycle.
  • Run A/B and control testing to continually optimise campaigns, presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product, UX, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams to support business initiatives and meet deliverable timelines.
  • Innovate with creative engagement strategies, maintaining a consistent brand voice and developing campaign templates and workflows with Creative teams.
  • Ensure all communications comply with privacy laws and industry best practices.
  • Fulfil workplace health and safety responsibilities as part of Envato's commitment to a safe environment.


About you:
  • 5+ years' experience in lifecycle marketing, with a track record of driving customer growth
  • Skilled in data analysis to assess campaign performance and develop actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly present complex ideas in both written and verbal formats.
  • Detail-oriented, experienced in crafting communications that engage audiences and drive results.
  • Proven project management skills, adept at handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, with a track record of working cross-functionally and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with various marketing channels such as social media, content marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Deep understanding of marketing technology and automation, with experience in tools like Iterable and Segment as a plus.
  • Knowledge of lifecycle marketing best practices, privacy regulations, and key performance metrics.
