The Epic Trust and Safety team provides a safer experience for Epic users. We work across multiple products and services to improve technology and craft transparent policies so our players and users can have positive experiences on our platforms.
We are looking for an experienced leader to head up the Policy function of the Trust and Safety team. This person will own internal and external policy development for our global moderation efforts across Epic products. You will draft, review, and secure executive alignment on internal and external policies for our enforcement and content moderation teams to apply effectively and equitably. Focusing on enforceability when developing policy is key! As a leader on the Trust and Safety team, you will be involved in all aspects of the team, including operations, Learning & Development, product development and investigations. This person must be an effective leader in the swift and effective resolution of sensitive, nuanced, and high-priority escalations originating from both internal and external stakeholders that sometimes include sensitive content. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, public policy, and engineering teams, own individual policy projects, and contribute to long-term strategic initiatives aimed to keep Epic products welcoming for everyone.
This role is open to multiple locations (including CA, NYC, & WA).
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
