ERG seeks applicants with extensive experience in vehicle electrification and charging systems to lead its Vehicle Decarbonization service area. The selected applicant will work closely with a core team of junior scientists and engineers, as well as extended interdisciplinary teams of policy analysts, economists, communication specialists, and information technology staff. Accordingly general familiarity with these topics and interpersonal skills are critical qualifications. In addition, ERG seeks mission-driven staff fully dedicated to fostering environmental and social benefits by providing clients with the highest level of objective analysis, creative solutions, and clear reporting tailored to each audience.

Job Description:

ERG's lead for Vehicle Decarbonization will serve as project manager work supporting the electrification of public and private sector light, medium and heavy-duty fleets
Management duties include serving as technical lead and EV/EVSE subject matter expert; developing written reports and preparing presentations; managing 3-6 junior staff and overseeing their technical work products; tracking budgets and invoicing
Marketing responsibilities include maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships with subcontractors, and leading proposal efforts

Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive experience working with light, medium and heavy-duty fleets developing vehicle decarbonization plan
Expert knowledge of federal EV and EVSE grant programs, including CFI and NEVI
Background working in both private consulting and public sector positions
Extensive project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

$170,000 - $180,000 a year

The salary range for all positions depends on the years and type of experience.
