About The Role
The Mechanical Superintendent is accountable each day for delivering a high standard of quality and productivity. The Mechanical Superintendent is directly responsible for successful management and completion of our new construction projects throughout Florida.
What You'll Do
Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet contracted project schedule.
Build distribution plans for a plan set, and RFIs
Ensure that all work performed is within the contract and that all additional work is not executed without authorization from the Project Superintendent.
Complete and thorough knowledge of contract drawings and specification interpretation necessary to effectively purchase and carry out the work of this trade.
Work closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and the applicable Trade Operations Manager to assist in the preparation, monitoring and update of schedules to ensure dates are met or improved upon.
Assist and participate in recruiting potential candidates, approval for new hires and ensuring smooth transition and training for new hires.
Adhere to AirSmith Pros’ standards of quality, safety and best practices
What You'll Need
At least 7 years of mechanical field supervisor experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar mechanical construction projects.
Must have EPA Section 608 Certification. NATE, LEED, and HVAC Excellence Certifications preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Spanish verbal and written communication skills are a plus.
Project management experience.
Extensive experience using Microsoft Office and/or Gmail.
Desire to go beyond expectations.
