ESL Teacher

The Tyson Foods plant in Jacksonville is hiring a part-time teacher for ESL (English as a Second Language) class that will begin as soon as possible. This class is a free benefit to Tyson employees and we are seeking someone who is able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and who has experience teaching ESL. Spanish and other language abilities preferred. More details below:

• Class: basic English + digital skills (we have a full curriculum and will train the instructor)
• Hours: Fridays 8am to 11am plus additional prep time
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Course length: 14 weeks, will likely continue with a second 14-week session
• Pay: $40/hour for instruction time plus additional prep time each week, plus all training. This will average to 3-6 paid hours per week.
• Location: Tyson Foods plant in Jacksonville, FL
