Reports to: Global Senior Planner
The role
This role is to work within a centralised European planning team across the Royal Canin brand in 16 markets.
The team’s main role is to develop appropriate full-funnel media plans based on globally defined strategy for each of our markets and deliver that brief for deployment, supporting them in seeing that through to successful execution.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the team with the planning and buying of media for our clients. This includes conducting research, analyzing data, efficiently delivering administrative tasks in running our campaigns, negotiating with media owners and suppliers, and presenting recommendations to clients. You will also be trained by our team to develop responsibility for maintaining client relationships and working closely with other specialist teams within the agency.
Royal Canin are a digital-only brand, so we are looking for someone who can show a passion for the digital media landscape and a willingness to learn about digital platforms and channels, particularly Search, Social and Display.
The Account Executive role will report into the Planner on the team who will be responsible for line management and developing the Executive to quickly progress. However, the rest of the team will also be on hand to ensure the Executive is well supported and getting good exposure to learn quickly about the world of media. We expect the successful candidate to be able to reach out to the wider team to ensure personal progress is being made.
