ETL Engineer - Remote - job 1 of 2

Are you looking to join a collaborative team environment and be able to make a direct impact right away? We are looking for an ETL Engineer to join the team to be a fresh set of eyes to help improve processes in a role with high visibility. You will be responsible for translating data for customers that are wanting to switch from competitors to our best in class products.

In this role you will:

• Partner with stakeholders to inspect, define, and document technical solutions to meet end user needs.
• Steer the design, build, unit testing, and deployment of data transformation and load jobs/packages/sequences using a variety of technical tools including C# and SQL.
• Exercise discretion within broadly defined policies and practices to choose the best method for accomplishing work and achieving goals.
• Follow through on assignments and keep stakeholders apprised of progress or any barriers to completion.
• Assist with Data Services team technical training and cross-departmental training efforts.
• Drive innovation and guide Data Services team initiatives by implementing new processes, improving existing workflows, and automating processes through technology.
• Assist with upkeep of team documentation, data storage, and customer service standards.
• Perform other tasks on projects as assigned.

What you should have:

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related degree with 1 to 2 years of experience with ETL coding languages and database concepts.
• Intermediate experience with C# programming.
• Intermediate experience in mySQL/SQL writing.
• Investigative, problem solving, creative thinking, and design skills applicable to multiple products and aligning with SDLC approaches.
• Detail-oriented, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal business communication skills including strong customer service skills.
• Passion for creatively designing and implementing complex data processes.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Passion for continuous learning and embracing change.
