This is a full-time position reporting to the Product Lead of Retention in the Growth group.In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. We help buyers go on to find relevant items and evaluate Etsy's vast inventory, make confident purchase decisions, and return to Etsy more often. With billions of items offered by 7.5 million sellers, we bring value to buyers, sellers, and Etsy by balancing data, qualitative research, and experimentation pairing SEO and e-commerce best practices to tackle the exciting challenges posed by operating at scale.What does the day-to-day look like?You will play a meaningful role in improving the performance and driving the growth of our SEO channel via best-in-class technical improvements and fantastic in-product landing pathways - to develop outstanding experiences aimed at acquiring new customers and deepening our relationship with existing ones. You will ultimately be responsible for growing the SEO channel to effectively introduce buyers to the Etsy marketplace.In close collaboration with your SEO + Marketing partners, as the product leader for your squad, you'll be paired with a designer, engineering manager, analyst, and researcher to investigate customer problems and build creative, data-driven solutions that set Etsy apart!You will be responsible for crafting a strategy, a plan with dependencies and key dates to reach your shared marketing + product goals. This role includes a heavy amount of execution and project management to drive success of your strategy with your partners.Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:• You have experience defining consumer product roadmaps from inception to launch.• You have a background of SEO, data, marketing channels or martech-related product management experience.• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.• You love harnessing quantitative & qualitative data to address exciting buyer problems and have experience running consumer-facing A/B tests.• You are also experienced with SEO-specific quantitative testing, such as SEO split testing.• You’re proficient in SQL/BigQuery.• You’re an excellent communicator, both in writing and orally.
