Eurofins Forensics is the European leader in Forensic DNA and Toxicology Testing. We are a competent, energetic, proactive, supportive, and progress-oriented group of people looking for new team members due to the expanding Eurofins IT Hub in Riga, Latvia.

🤖 Experience, knowledge & skills 🤖

• You are a Software Engineer who has been working in Software Development for a couple of years (as we are building a team, we are looking to hire developers of various levels of experience)
• Knowledge of security practices and complying with them
• Familiar with various architecture patterns and practices e.g., domain-driven design, dependency injection, and event-driven design.
• You have practical experience building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs
• You take ownership of software solutions from talking to the business to running the software in the production environment
• You know how to create extendable and scalable systems that are working well together
• You trust your software – you know how it works, why it works, how to break it (and fix it)
• You feel comfortable giving and receiving feedback
• You have great communication skills and good English

👩‍💻 What you will be doing 👨‍💻

• Work on integrations between forensic laboratories and government systems
• Create solutions that are tested, reliable, secure, and fulfill the business needs within the given limits and available resources
• Make tech decisions together with the team and other stakeholders
• Effectively communicate with your team, business/clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and management
