Investment Manager – Jersey

As an Investment Manager in our Jersey office, you will have access to a varied and interesting client base, you will be tasked with deepening client relationships by placing the power of good advice into more hands.

Evelyn Partners manages £62bn worth of assets, as a growing company you will have the opportunity to feed into local and group strategy. Evelyn Partners Jersey offers a clear development framework and the opportunity to work with industry experts across the investment management and professional services sector to offer bespoke solutions to clients.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner, ensuring all information provided is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients’ needs
• Review portfolios regularly and make portfolio changes consulting with colleagues
• Construct & maintain suitable portfolios in line with the clients’ requirements, circumstances, tax situation and attitude to risk
• Build new client relationships and develop existing client relationships through effective, ongoing service and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients
• Place deals accurately and in a timely fashion
• To work in partnership with Financial Planning (FP)and Professional Services (PS) colleagues to develop client relationship
• Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate CPD in order to reach full potential

What we're looking for:

• Holds a minimum qualification of level 4 or above within Investment Management (aspiring for Level 7) 
• Strong experience of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment advice
• Experience of re-modelling newly acquired portfolios and bringing them into line with the investment policy
• Technical / product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment Management strategies and solutions
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience of leading pitches and winning new business preferred
