We are seeking a dynamic Operations Support Manager to become an integral part of our Store Quality Operations Team in Chicago, IL. If you're looking for a place where you can make a real impact, grow your career, and work with some amazing people, you've found it!THE POSITIONAs our Operations Support Manager, you'll be the vital link between our VP of Store Quality, Visual Merchants, Talent Development, Store Support Center, and our stores. Your mission? To ensure that each store you support operates at peak efficiency, upholds our high standards, and continues to wow our guests.But here's the exciting part: This isn't a role where you'll be juggling multiple stores. Instead, you'll focus on assisting with key operational tasks to help individual stores shine. Whether it's fine-tuning training programs, keeping payroll on track, managing expenses, or ensuring inventory is spot on, you'll play a crucial role in helping our stores deliver the best possible experience to every guest, every time.What You'll Do:• Empower Through Training: Lead the charge in delivering top-notch in-store training programs, from leadership development to product knowledge and guest service. You'll collaborate with the VP of Store Quality to pinpoint and address training opportunities that drive excellence.• Master Payroll Management: Keep a close eye on scheduling and payroll expenditures, helping stores stay within budget while meeting all legal requirements. Your insights will ensure smooth operations and financial health.• Control Expenses Like a Pro: Dive into the details of store expenses, analyze trends, and find ways to improve profitability. Your strategic budgeting will make a big difference in our bottom line.• Optimize Inventory Management: Ensure seamless compliance with the receipt and movement of goods. From ticketing to merchandising, you'll help reduce losses and keep our stores running smoothly.• Guard Our Assets: Use our Exception-based Reporting System to monitor loss prevention indicators, audit stores, and ensure everything's in top shape. You'll also support physical inventories when needed.• Champion Store Transitions: Partner with our Store Transition Team to coordinate remodels, new openings, and special projects. Your role will be pivotal in training and onboarding new team members.• Tackle Special Projects: Every day is different, and you'll be ready to take on any special projects or other duties that come your way.What You Bring:• 3-5+ years of retail operations leadership experience that showcases your ability to get things done.• Exceptional communication skills that make you a standout, whether you're presenting to a group or collaborating one-on-one.• A team player attitude that drives collaboration and results.• Creative problem-solving skills and the resourcefulness to think on your feet.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail that ensure nothing slips through the cracks.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the motivation to drive your own success.Travel Requirements:Get ready to hit the road! This role requires travel about 25-50% of the time, giving you the opportunity to support stores across various locations.Physical Demands:This role keeps you on your toes-literally. You'll need to stand, walk, and use your hands frequently. Occasionally, you'll also reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
