Since our public release in September 2023, we have experienced incredible traction growing for 0 to 10M+ active users. As we grow, our goal is to keep enhancing existing key features as well as developing new exciting functionalities (AI to AI conversations, group chat, AI chat & phone calls in local languages, video calls, AI video generation, AR/VR, etc.).

Your Role

Reporting directly to our CMO Thomas, this is what you'll do:

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that includes technical, content, and link-building components to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic.

• Technical SEO: Conduct thorough technical audits and implement on-site SEO improvements, including site structure, schema markup, page speed optimization, and mobile-friendliness.

• Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to oversee the creation and optimization of SEO-friendly content, ensuring it aligns with search engine guidelines and engages the target audience.

• Link Building: Develop and execute a link-building strategy to increase domain authority and improve search engine rankings.

• SEO Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Use data insights to refine strategies and demonstrate the impact of SEO initiatives.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and tech teams to ensure SEO strategies are integrated across all digital activities.

• Agency and External Partners Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage external partners, freelancers, and agencies to supplement efforts and enhance outcomes.

• Resource Development and Team Building: Initially manage all SEO activities independently, with the potential to recruit, train, and lead a high-performing SEO team of full-time and freelance specialists as the department grows.

Your Qualifications

Hard Skills

• Proven experience in leading and scaling SEO in an early-stage startup environment, demonstrating the ability to drive growth from the ground up.

• Strong expertise in all aspects of SEO, including technical SEO, content strategy, on-page and off-page optimization, and link building.

• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, and other industry-standard tools.

• Experience with local SEO, international SEO, and optimizing content for multilingual and multicultural audiences.

• In-depth knowledge of current SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and their impact on organic search performance.

• Technical skills to handle on-site SEO elements such as site audits, page speed, and mobile optimization.
