Note: This is an ongoing opportunity for future Managing Directors across the Everfield ecosystem. As we continue to grow our portfolio, we are proactively engaging with candidates who have the leadership experience and operational expertise to step into Managing Director roles within our vertical market software companies.
Everfield buys, builds, and grows European vertical market and specialist software companies, providing them with the tools they need to move to the next level. Our mission is to foster ambition, fuel growth, and unlock opportunities for Europe’s software ecosystem.
Companies in the Everfield ecosystem follow a decentralised model, maintaining their team, brand, and offices while focusing on what they do best—building products and supporting customers. Everfield provides support in talent acquisition, HR, and access to a team of experts in building and growing European B2B SaaS companies who consult on financial and operational topics.
Founded in 2022, Everfield has an ecosystem presence in 7 countries—and growing.
As Managing Director (MD), you will lead one of Everfield’s portfolio companies and assume full ownership of its strategy, execution, and performance. This role is designed for operationally strong leaders with deep experience in software businesses who are ready to take end-to-end responsibility for a growing company.
You will work closely with Everfield’s central teams but operate independently, with the autonomy to shape the future of the business. This role is especially suited to individuals with prior experience running software companies in a standalone or platform model, particularly in the €2M–€10M recurring revenue range.

We are especially interested in individuals with:
Prior experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or CEO in a B2B software or SaaS environment
Proven success leading a business with €2M–€10M in recurring revenue
Full accountability for business performance, including P&L, headcount, and strategy

Experience operating within decentralised models or working with shared-service or platform support functions
A hands-on leadership style, grounded in operational excellence, clear communication, and cultural stewardship
We welcome interest from experienced software leaders who understand the dynamics of buy-and-hold environments and portfolio-driven growth—particularly those who have thrived in aggregator, accumulator, or roll-up software organizations.
While we review each application carefully, we are currently focused on candidates who bring:
First-hand experience scaling vertical or niche software businesses
Familiarity with decentralized ownership and platform-based acquisition models
A desire to take full accountability for a business and build for the long term
