Utility Houseperson - Housekeeping

Job Description

The Utility- Houseperson is responsible for cleaning all public areas.

• Shampooing carpets
• Stripping and waxing floors
• Polishing marble
• Operating sweepers, scrubbers, buffers, walk behinds and various other floor machines
• Pressure washing
• High cleaning and/ or dusting
• Emptying trashcans
• Cleaning ashtrays and replacing sand
• Picking up trash
• Cleaning glass
• Polishing metals
• Performing bio hazard clean-up
• Any other janitorial related duties as requested

Qualifications

• Previous carpet, hard floor care and equipment knowledge
• Minimum 1 year on the job experience
• Able to communicate in English
• 21 years or older
