Senior Accountant
Evergreen Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to take a key role in the accounting activities for the multi-entity Holding Company. The ideal candidate should be analytical, self-motivated, and experienced in accounting and financial analysis.
Skills
- Experience with US GAAP and financial analysis
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in month-end close and general ledger software
- Experience with financial portfolio systems like QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Handle accounting activities for all holding company entities and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage the financial month/quarter-end accounting close process
- Lead the month-end close process and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts
- Manage accounts payable function and ensure adherence to policies
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements
- Assist with tax preparation, audit requests, and other ad-hoc accounting tasks
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Progress towards CPA or other professional designation desired
