Wage Range: $96,782 - $154,835 per year
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary:
Serves as a single point of contact for the referring physician, patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance with accessing clinical and supportive care services offered by EvergreenHealth and in the community. Facilitates patient appointments, including labs, diagnostic areas, and specialty physicians to ensure all patients receive quality and comprehensive services. Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for Oncology patients.
Primary Duties:
1. Serves as an essential link between Oncology patients and all other care providers.
2. Assists patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and the resources available.
3. Educates eligible patients about appropriate supportive care resources, research studies and technologies available to this unique patient population.
4. Follows patients throughout the care continuum, including inpatient admissions, and collaborates with inpatient, outpatient and community care management resources.
5. Responsible for the outreach efforts to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key customers (physicians, office staff, diagnostic staff, nurses, radiology staff, social services staff, and radiation oncology staff, etc.).
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
● Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicable
● Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
● 3 years of clinical Oncology experience
● Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
DESIRED for the position:
● Master’s degree
● OCN or ONS certification
● Chemotherapy certification
● RN with Oncology Pharmaceutical experience
