1POINT21 Interactive is a full-service digital agency based in San Diego, CA. We specialize in helping brands to increase visibility online by developing “share-worthy” content around the topic of consumer safety, important social issues, and trending topics. Whether we are developing an interactive data visualization, long-form content piece or developing a stunning new website design, our goal is always to make the kind of web content that gets people talking about you and your brand.

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a Junior Visual Designer with a knack for crafting modern, innovative websites and designs, always keeping user experience and user interface (UX/UI) at the forefront. We want someone who can truly impress us with their portfolio. While experience is valuable, we prioritize designers who can create stunning visuals while consistently focusing on user experience. If you’re confident that your portfolio can wow us, we’d love to connect! Bonus points if you have experience with mobile app and software design, as we also do software development work.

Responsibilities:

  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
  • Partner with project managers to help brief and advise clients regarding design style, format, production timeline
  • Develop strong concepts and layouts with website, print, and logo design
  • Work with other web designers in a collaborative environment
  • Prepare drafts of material based on an agreed brief
  • Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Art Directors, Developers, and Project Managers for final layouts
  • Meticulous attention to details, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enthusiasm for expanding your skill set and working on a variety of design projects
  • 1+ years of graphic design experience in a fast-paced marketing agency setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field (preferred)
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong digital (UI/UX) designs required
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc.)
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
  • Ability to work onsite at our San Diego office on a hybrid basis


The total compensation range for this opportunity is $45,000 - $65,000, plus benefits. This target compensation range is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience and location. As you go through our interview process, your recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed target compensation range that will get you excited about your future at EverService.
