Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Owner of the company’s overall annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Align financial plans with overall business objectives and growth strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, analysis, and presentations for senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. Provide insights into financial performance, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with Accounting on aligning Chart of Accounts, categorizations, and expense timing between actuals and budgets
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives. Monitor and analyze variances against budget and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
- Work with department heads to craft realistic budgets and develop reporting feedback loops for budget vs actual reporting on an ongoing and monthly basis
- Be a key partner to Accounting, and other cross-functional departments to guarantee a seamless information and process flow between the various functions
- Collaborate closely with senior executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
- Promote continued improvement of FP&A processes via digitalization, automation and value-added analysis
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes, investment evaluations, and scenario planning
- Identify any significant risk to the business operation and communicate to stakeholders.
- Oversee financial systems and processes, including ERP systems, financial planning software, and reporting tools. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Lead or participate in strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned by senior management. Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support the achievement of organizational goals.
- Continuously assess and improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value-added contribution to the organization.
Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:
- 7-9 years of FP&A experience
- Work effectively across multiple departments in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
- Results oriented, proactive, capable of managing multiple deadlines
- Demonstrate strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of audiences
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the FP&A function aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Leading the FP&A team in executing strategic initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively articulate financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior executives, the board of directors, and other stakeholders. Presenting complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to influence decision-making and drive business performance. Serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
- Mastery of advanced financial analysis techniques, including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis. Developing sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
- Leveraging advanced analytics tools and technologies to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in data visualization tools, financial planning software, and ERP systems to support decision-making and reporting.

Compensation & Total Rewards
The expected pay range for this position is $$183,040 to $223,800. Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications, and more.
