Sales Development Representative

Evolve Security is looking for a results-driven Sales Development Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

This is a growth opportunity role, with the intention of building sales team members quickly as they mature in our process and demonstrate aptitude in the role to account executives for a career cyber security sales.

Evolve Security’s culture is rooted in cybersecurity education. We are looking for candidates who are eager to build their understanding of cybersecurity and sales.

Chicago based with flexible work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from marketing.
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
  • Moving solid leads through the funnel, connecting them to a Account Executive, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase.
  • Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
  • Collaborating with sales executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.

Preferred Experience & Ambition:

  • A bachelor's degree or equal work experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Good time management and analytical skills.
  • Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and desire to learn in a high growth sales organization.
  • Bonus points for CRM Experience (Preferably Salesforce, HubSpot, or MS Dynamics 365).
  • Experience using sales engagement tools (Outreach.io, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus.
