Exabeam is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Services team. This team's mission is to build scalable and highly available cloud services to accelerate our innovation. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about large-scale systems, and care about producing clean, elegant, maintainable, robust, well-tested code. You enjoy collaborating with others to come up collectively with the best possible solution. You take pride in the sustainability of your product and are willing to roll up your sleeve and assist customer success teams in resolving critical product issues.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for infrastructure aspects of our new cloud native, microservice based security platform to be released this year. The platform is fully multi-tenant, runs on Kubernetes, and uses the latest cloud native CNCF technologies (istio, envoy, fluentd, jaeger, prometheus, etc.)
- You will be part of the application frameworks team that will release high quality platform services on a multi-tenant cloud platform.
- You will provide infrastructural guidance to developers to design and implement distributed systems that follow industry guidelines.
- You will build tools and frameworks to help developers writing applications on the platform to be more efficient and shield them from complexities in the infrastructure.
- You will be involved in platform design discussions with all development teams to provide the infrastructure insight and manage the proper technology and business tradeoffs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in a Global SRE team providing support for Cloud systems for large production (customer facing) environments.
- A strong passion for SRE/DevOps and running highly resilient/automated systems
- Deep working experience on at least one public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and related CNCF technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code like Terraform.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Go
- Experience deploying large scale distributed systems and remediating performance, reliability, scalability issues that arise in such systems.
- In Depth knowledge on Linux, Networking, ServiceMesh and Containers
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows, automation and framework, Experience with Github Actions and ArgoCD preferred.
- Experience with PubSub, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery highly desired.
