JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Producer is a seasoned production professional possessing strong leadership qualities, displays a calming presence for clients, agency teams and department colleagues. A creative producer and project leader within the Broadcast Production Department, the role requires strong production acumen, the ability to delegate / educate cross-functional team members, bringing a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of live action, post and still art production. This production expert will manage and oversee their projects in close partnership with the creative teams, project management, and account teams, and communicate internally with fellow producers to share knowledge with a collaborative, team-centric approach. This candidate brings extensive knowledge managing production, providing creative oversight through every stage of production for:
all live action/video content (including large scale TV production, medical education content, and documentary style work with real people talent (doctors, patients & caregivers.)- all still-art production, including photo shoots, still CGI, illustration.
- all post/ animation production, including high science MOA/MOD medical videos, any animation style from hand drawn work to complex 3D, post-production process, audio/sound records, mixes, finishing, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with agency brand teams across all disciplines to manage production, from creative development through post-production to final client billing.

Manage all aspects of production including research + bidding appropriate vendors, timelines, estimates, hire all necessary external production creative partners, manage production cost consultants, educate clients if/as needed

Execute a full range of client deliverables from project planning to final production delivery, including production timelines, post-production, quality, and budget/financial oversight
- Responsible for production feasibility, vetting of the project creative and supervision on all aspects of the creative development process, from brain-storming idea generation through final production execution

Understands the importance of thinking on the fly and how to troubleshoot quickly and effectively

Skilled in identifying and partnering with the industry’s best artists to create high-end campaigns

Guide and advise teams during creative/project brief stage to help guide agency & client team

Lead all vendor briefings

Handle primary business management and talent responsibilities for all still/photography work (all financial contracts, estimates and vendor specific purchase orders in our financial system
- Attend shoot productions (in-person or remote) + oversee the post-production of content assets to final delivery of assets

Partner closely with Business Affairs, Talent and Traffic colleagues for all live action, motion and post -production projects, with a spirit of partnership and collaboration
- Assure all Agency and IPG Health Legal and IPG Risk Management guidelines are followed for safety of patients, talent, crew, and clients

Develops and maintains appropriate levels of communication with the clients, internal teams, and senior management

Ensures internal communication with immediate team and extended teams are clear, concise, effective, and timely

Manages team interaction and develops partnerships with key stakeholders in accordance with brand and company objectives

Excellent client presentation skills as well as a natural ability to think quickly on one’s feet
- Collaborates with account and project management on project estimating and process

Creates detailed project specs, communicates clearly to vendors during the competitive bid process, creating triple bids for presentation and client review, creation of financial system estimates, purchase orders, check advances, and the ability to advise and guide client finance on process
- Possesses excellent relationships with client outsourced production consultants and be a strong liaison, providing clear outlines on production approach and collaborative bid analysis with cost consultant partners

Understands agency and client financial reporting and contractual processes and implement across collaborative partners

Experience with negotiating vendor and talent contracts/usage and elevate to proper legal channels for further assistance
