Role Overview:
Transport Services (Cab Services)
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Transport Handler to oversee the transportation of employees using our company's cab services. The Transport Handler will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transportation for our employees, maintaining a high level of service quality. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

- Daily monitoring and maintaining various reports to manage and report for enhancing operational efficiency and achieving maximum cost savings.
- Remain in communication with team at times to support and share knowledge base for quick identification and closure of issues.
- Keep the immediate reporting manager informed on real time basis for any changes.
- Help and create accurate data to help create management insight.
- Support in effective rendering of services including Housekeeping, Canteen, Security, Travel, Office Equipment, etc. to enable smooth flow of day-to-day operations.
- Identifying, finalizing, and managing the vendor for arranging occasional special food for festivals and team get-togethers.
- Assist in aligning and coordinate transport procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
- Coordinate the scheduling and routing of company-owned or contracted cabs to transport employees to and from designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of cab availability, scheduling, and changes in routes or pick-up/drop-off locations.
- Communicate with cab drivers, employees, especially female employees, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards, including verifying driver licenses, insurance, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Conduct regular inspections of cabs to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Conduct all safety trainings and ensure to follow the safety protocol in case of any emergency.
- Address any safety concerns or issues promptly and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback regarding the transportation services.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and cab drivers.
- Promptly respond to any transportation-related issues or emergencies and take necessary actions to resolve them.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor cab routes, arrival times, and pick-up/drop-off activities to ensure adherence to schedules and optimize efficiency.
- Generate regular reports on cab utilization, employee feedback, and any incidents or service disruptions.
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with cab service providers, ensuring contractual compliance, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews of cab service providers and address any performance issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in transportation management or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience for 2-4 Years in handling transportation services, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with local transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees and external vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage scheduling and routing activities.
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software for tracking and monitoring cab services.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle unexpected situations or disruptions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for occasional driving duties).
