The Challenge:
To perform effectively to achieve their mission, organizations need help managing day-to-day processes and engagements and require real time support when unexpected issues and challenges arise. Whether fulfilling an immediate task, recognizing a mission gap and recommending a solution, or flexing to support an immerging requirement, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and become a strong member of the team. That is why we need you, an Executive Assistant to provide foundational support to day-to-day and long-term operations. As part of our team, you'll serve in a technical office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), providing high-quality mission support to the customer.
As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for tracking and scheduling short-term and long-term meetings and engagements for senior government executives and serving as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for calendar organization and management. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success. You will manage tasks in a variety of areas. You will work closely with the Action Officer to manage invitations and high-profile engagements for government clients, support tracking of briefing requirements, and ensuring clients have received the necessary materials to prepare for all upcoming engagements. You will regularly interact with high-level internal and external government officials by understanding DARPA’s organizational structure and maintaining professional relations. You will laisse and coordinate meetings with key internal and external stakeholders. This is a chance to broaden your experience in R&D while making an impact with your consulting expertise. Work with us as we help technology for the warfighter evolve.
