KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Executive Assistant provides high-level support to designated senior leaders within Korn Ferry Consulting. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Maintain daily schedules including external and internal meetings, conference calls/virtual meetings involving multiple time zones, setting video conferences, and client meetings.
  • Coordinate travel schedules, both domestic and international, preparing a detailed itinerary prior to departure.
  • Prepare and submit bi-monthly accurate expense reports for leaders/partners and reconcile statements.
  • Prepare and save bi-monthly timesheets in PSA, showing utilization time allocated to each engagement.
  • Update business development database and prepare reports for review (Salesforce, etc).
  • Serve as a central point of contact for administrative inquiries.
  • Assist with business development process and create PowerPoint presentations and other business documents, LOE’s, etc.
  • Represent the organization and leaders to internal and external parties as required.
  • Assist with other duties such as file maintenance, photocopying, scanning, mailings, trouble shooting, and meeting planning.
  • Handle calls for the senior leaders, working with other support staff to ensure phone coverage during breaks and other periods of absence.
  • Support other colleagues when possible, providing timely answers to requests.
  • Assist with office management duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

. Must demonstrate competence and ease communicating with senior executives and their teams, as characterized by excellent verbal skills on the telephone and written skills in drafting and editing client-facing documents.

. Must be genuinely interested in learning about business and industry characteristics/needs. Need the ability to quickly learn industry / company fundamentals. Needs sufficient conceptual skills to understand broad industry concepts.


High Energy Level.
Must work on multiple assignments simultaneously, adhere to best practice guidelines. Must be willing to work hours required to complete the assignment.


Contribution to Team and Resources.
Must be recognized as a natural team player who is invested in the success of the team as a whole.

Works with minimal direction; is a self-starter.


Efficiency
. Works with multiple managers and prioritizes task effectively. Embraces the fact that Korn Ferry teams must prioritize client needs above all while adhering to the highest quality standards.

. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, able to assertively navigate organizational structures, but with sensitivity and finesse. Reliably complete necessary paperwork and follow procedures effectively.

Must project an understanding and appreciation for the confidentiality of client and candidate information and protect it as appropriate.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS


  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience as an executive assistant supporting senior leaders in a business environment required, ideally in a professional services firm.
  • Demonstrated track record of sound judgment and professionalism with the ability to work with senior level executives across multiple business lines and regions.
  • High degree of interpersonal and professional savvy across varying levels of internal management, staff, clients, and associates.
  • High level of business acumen; able to make timely decisions and drive to action.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate to operational processes.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision, be detail-oriented, flexible in terms of hours/responsibilities, and able to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities, with high degree of prioritization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service focused with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Client management/service experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in the talent management field a plus
