Peek is looking for an Executive / Personal Assistant to provide support to our CEO and Co-Founder, Ruzwana Bashir. The purpose of this position is to provide proactive administrative support in both personal and professional responsibilities, enabling the CEO to focus on the company mission & strategy of Peek. The ideal candidate adapts well to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, demonstrates flexibility as timelines and priorities change, and provides a high degree of attention and responsiveness to the CEO’s daily schedule.

This is a remote-first role, with the expectation to be in person with the CEO 1-2 times a week
providing support with calendar and time management, travel coordination, various personal assistant tasks, and other related responsibilities as assigned.

  • Due to the nature of this role, candidates should be within commutable distance of New York City.

Core Responsibilities

    • Own coordination and accuracy of the CEO’s personal and professional calendar. Including coordination of external meetings, speaking engagements, internal leadership and company-wide meetings, and personal appointments.
    • Coordinate complex international and domestic travel arrangements
    • Execute personal and business administrative tasks
    • Run point and coordinate events hosted by the CEO
    • Perform other projects and duties as requested related to office management and executive needs

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience supporting an executive or founder
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Tech-savvy with proficiency in GSuite, Zoom, Slack, and other tools
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Previous experience managing travel arrangements both domestically and internationally
    • Strong understanding of confidentiality
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize with strong attention to detail
    • Global mindset, understanding time zones, cultural nuance, and different working practices
    • NY Savvy- knows where the best service businesses are in the city
