You will lead a global product & technology talent acquisition team, focused on experienced hiring globally. You will partner directly with our Chief Product Officer & Chief Technology Officer and their senior leaders across our Product & Technology divisions to design recruiting strategies that lead to identifying, interviewing, and hiring experienced, diverse, talent that will raise the bar of Expedia Group’s performance.We aspire to bring the same consumer/customer thinking, and insightful competitive analytics assets that we leverage in our commercial business to our global talent acquisition efforts.In this role, you will:• Design and lead a talent acquisition strategy and team focused on Expedia Group’s Product & Technology hiring, globally.• As a true value-coach, build a seamless partnership with our hiring leaders as a genuine trusted advisor. Partner with our most senior Product & Technology leaders to understand talent requirements, whilst challenging current thinking and ways of hiring whilst advising them on industry talent trends and market competitiveness.• Translate hiring needs into strategic recruitment plans and set clear expectations for the timeframe and partnership needed from the business. Influence change and drive change management for new solutions/ new experiences.• Translate data into insights to influence senior leadership decision making, support problem solving and to communicate compelling data stories. Influence best practices with team and stakeholders, utilizing data trends to gain insights into how to broaden and diversify our talent pools.• Organizational Design & Development: Build a high-performance, multi-level team that can move product & technology hiring to the next orbit of delivery and business partnership.• Drive workforce planning and capacity planning, optimize the team to deliver against full hiring demand. me. Track KPI metrics and report out to leadership, communicating impact and identify further opportunities.Experience and qualifications:• You are an experienced, large-scale, Global Talent Acquisition leader, with 15+ years of experience programmatically building organizational capability for a technology company, globally.• Experienced leading, coaching, and inspiring a multi-level, global recruiting team (incl. managers of managers) which has successfully hired globally in a complex, fast-paced global environment.• International experience, specifically leading hiring in India is critical.• A Strategic Partner: curious and passionate about the business context and leadership growth, builds strong relationship by being an inspiring and approachable leader.• Passion for and understanding of talent acquisition and its relationship to talent management, and to assess and translate business strategies and workforce implications.• As a disrupter and innovator, you will find and collaborate on better ways of getting things done - process optimization, infrastructure and technologies, organization design, data and insights, hiring channels, employer branding, candidate experiences.The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $261,500 to $366,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $418,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
