• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's and CPA preferred)
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience with Great Plains and Management Reporter preferred
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
• Demonstrated commitment to process improvement

• Perform cash reconciliations across designated business units
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries including adjustments, prepaid expenses, inventory, and accruals
• Conduct analysis for inventory, bad debt, and returns reserves
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with general ledger and maintain supporting documentation
• Analyze and compile monthly balance sheet and profit & loss statements
• Evaluate and improve internal control systems and procedures
• Support external audits through documentation preparation and delivery
• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests and support strategic initiatives as needed
