General Mechanic

Job Title: General MechanicLocation: Fort Pierce, FLSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PMPay Range: $20 - $30 per hourExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and experienced General Mechanic for a client located in Fort Pierce, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing automotive systems. You must also have experience with removing and reinstall transmission systems, assist other technicians, and ensure all repairs are documented accurately.Responsibilities:• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.• Remove and reinstall transmission systems.• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities as needed.• Effectively explain problems discovered during vehicle inspections to service writers and technicians.• Continuously learn new technical information, repair techniques, tools, and equipment.• Professionally document findings and repairs to ensure accurate cost estimates.• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.Requirements:• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a General Automotive Technician.• Hold a valid driver’s license.• Must own professional-grade tools to perform general repair tasks.• Proficient in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics.• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.If you are a motivated, reliable, and skilled mechanic looking for a full-time opportunity with competitive pay, we encourage you to apply today.
