In this role, you will assist our clients in executing strategies to harness AI and data on a large scale, thereby improving their business outcomes. Moreover, you will be instrumental in guiding our clients to incorporate principles of ethics, fairness, transparency, and accountability into their AI and data endeavors. This position offers you the chance to lead and remain at the forefront technological advancements in AI and data, broaden your understanding of risk management and AI regulations, and refine your skills to meet the increasing demands for AI expertise. As a rapidly expanding field, this high-visibility role provides ample opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth.Your key responsibilitiesAs an AI & Data Manager, you will lead a team of junior members, collaborate with a diverse client base to articulate, formulate, and implement their AI & data strategies. Your role encompasses developing and implementing AI strategies, AI ready data frameworks as well as ModelOps architectures, and ensuring that all capabilities comply with internal enterprise policies, procedures, and necessary regulatory compliance and security standards.Skills and attributes for success• Leading large-scale client engagements. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.• Effectively managing and motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Providing constructive on- the- job feedback/coaching to team members.• Managing the various engagement workstreams helping our clients develop and implement a comprehensive AI & data strategies that align with the client's goals, mission and vision and adheres to their enterprise policies and procedures and AI regulatory and compliance requirements• Deep knowledge in at least one functional sub-domain within the Energy & Resources sector (Power & Utilities or Oil & Gas), including its corresponding technological environment.• Extensive expertise in the realms of Artificial Intelligence, Data, or Automation.• Monitoring progress, managing risk, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.• Managing expectations of client service delivery.• Applying combined business and technical knowledge to develop and execute AI and data target architectures that enables implementation and monitoring of AI at scale• Collaborating with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, MLOps Engineers, DevOps to implement and sustain ModelOps target architecture in client's platform of choice• Collaborating with the client's team to integrate AI ready data solutions into their existing ecosystem• Understanding clients' overall data, AI and technology landscape and business priorities and success measures• Cultivating business development opportunities.• Developing thought leadership for your area of expertise to help strengthen EY’s brand in the data management space.To qualify for the role you must have• Bachelor's degree, or MS degree in Business, Economics, Technology Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning• Minimum of 4-6+ years of professional consulting experience in business or technology consulting or similar roles• Strong data science and/or data engineering experience• Strong knowledge of AI technologies and frameworks• Possess a robust working knowledge and informed perspective on the evolving methodologies and practices for modernizing information management within the Energy & Resources industry, with a particular emphasis on digital transformation.• Familiarity with public, private, and hybrid cloud architectures, as well as expertise in crafting cloud-native solutions on one or more of the following platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or IBM• Proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills - actively participate in brainstorming, identifying core issues and effectively finding and using data to manage complex analysis• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive successful outcomes• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills• A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated up to 80%. A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationallyIdeally, you’ll also have• Experience in leading business or IT transformation projects that have supported data science, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and cloud applications at scale• Familiarity with AI frameworks and standards related to AI ethics, privacy, and data protection• Working experience with Agile and/or Scrum methods of delivery• Working experience with design led thinking• Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, or Snowflake Certifications in the Data & AI domainWhat we look forWe're interested in passionate leaders with strong vision and a desire to deeply understand the trends at the intersection of business, AI and Data, risk management, compliance and regulations. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $ 124,300 to $227,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,200 to $259,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
