Veterinary Technician - Practice Leader
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a veterinary technician (direct patient care)
- Supervisor/advanced technical skills
- Has 2 years of supervisory experience (in a veterinary clinic setting)
- Licensed Technician preferred, but not required
- Proficient in IV catheters placement, blood work, and IV, IM, and SQ injections
- Has strong anesthesia skills (able to obtain blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
- Ability to coach, lead and manage staff at various levels of the organization
- Team player
- Eager to learn and is self-motivated
- Enjoys a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (email, uploading/downloading files, typing, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task with a smile
