Our team works an on-site 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls REC facility with every other Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
Provide scheduling support by developing, detailing, expending, and maintaining project schedules for multiple campuses across the lab. Collaborate with management, planners, and customers to balance loads to support resource efficiencies that can lead to successful customer outcomes. Partner with management to provide schedules, analytics, KPIs/metrics, and histories to enable management to make, direct, and predict work and manpower decisions.

Responsibility:
Manage multiple scheduling tasks of increasing scope and risk with increasing competency. Assignments may be broad in nature, which will require originality and ingenuity of application of scheduling concepts. Work with limited supervision, conferring with senior scheduling personnel on unusual matters. Provide scheduling guidance and direction to supporting customers. Assisting Manufacturing Support personnel, establish, maintain and support the process in support of resource management (allocation/leveling). Integrate various project/experiment work activities requiring Manufacturing Support resources and perform resource management in support of execution. Ensure work activities are represented on the appropriate shop schedules. Assist Manufacturing Support management in resolving resource priority conflicts such that project/experiment activities are supported appropriately. Provide recommendations as appropriate to Manufacturing Support personnel for achieving execution of fabrication shop activities. Provide ad-hoc scheduling support as requested. Accumulate, evaluate and document historical schedule data for future development of schedules.
Interface:
Represent the scheduling organization as appropriate. Interact with senior personnel on significant matters requiring coordination across organizational lines. Provide direction to junior staff as requested. Enhance technical/professional skills of junior staff through mentoring and training as required. As necessary, collaborate with Manufacturing Planners and Technicians to understand resource requirements of fabrication requests.
Minimum Requirements:
PRO0200 position: Bachelors degree + 2 years scheduling experience or advanced degree + 1 years’ experience, or high school diploma or equivalent and 10 years scheduling experience.
PRO0300 position: Bachelors degree + 5 years scheduling experience or advanced degree + 3 years’ experience, or high school diploma or equivalent and 13 years scheduling experience.
