Facilities Technician
Responsible and accountable for the operation, maintenance, repair and upkeep of the physical building structure and building services equipment/systems for the organization?s facilities and satellite clinics, in order to maintain a reliable, safe, cost effective and a physically appealing facility.
Shift Details:
Part-time/ Second Shift
Monday-Friday (flexible)
2:30pm-11pm
3-8-hour shifts/ 24 hours a week

Required Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Completion of vocational or trade school OR equivalent combination of education/experience in a technical setting related to building operations combine (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with tools and test instruments required Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve problems and make decisions while working in stressful situations required.
- Capable of communicating effectively (verbal and written) with patient care providers, patients, visitors, management and other staff required.
- Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance functions and possesses strong written documentation skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Current valid motor vehicle operator license and ability to meet and maintain insurability required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare experience in a maintenance trade or in a technical role preferred.
- Formal training in a vocational or trade school specifically related to maintenance operations preferred.
- Completion of maintenance training in plumbing, electrical systems or refrigeration preferred.
