FALL INTERNS

U.S. Senator Tom Carper’s (D-Del.) Washington D.C. office is accepting applications for the Fall 2023 semester. This internship presents an opportunity for both a unique learning experience and an inside look at the legislative process. Duties include compiling legislative research, attending Congressional hearings/events, and assisting staff with special projects. Candidates should possess strong writing and research skills and a demonstrated interest in American politics. Candidates from BIPOC, LGBT+, working class, military, and/or other underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply, as well as candidates with ties to Delaware. The final deadline to apply to the Washington, D.C. office is August 10th.
