PAID FALL 2023 INTERNSHIP

The Office of Senator Maria Cantwell is currently accepting applications for our paid Fall 2023 internship in Washington, DC. Interns work in all departments and should be prepared for their experience to span administrative, legislative, and press work. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: attending hearings and briefings, leading tours of the U.S. Capitol, answering phones, researching legislative initiatives, drafting constituent correspondence, tracking media coverage, drafting press materials, and more. This position requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Washington State ties are strongly preferred. The Fall internship will run from September-Early December 2023 (with some flexibility depending on interns’ school schedules). Generally, interns must be able to commit to at least 25 hours per week (minimum).
