You'll learn monetary accounting activities, application process, how to address customer inquiries, assist with customer-facing technology and overall management of office operations.Our interns work on projects that matter—and teams will rely on your skills and insights to help deliver those projects to market. You’ll get the opportunity to work on real projects and have fun along the way.Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Provide 1st level service and support for inbound customer interactions• Assist in processing cash management requests (wires/ACH/Payment by Phone)• Discover different loan servicing options and work to gather appropriate documentation to initiate the request.• Gain exposure to the Associations’ digital portal, online banking and other customer-facing tools.• Work to resolve Customer inquiries by collaborating with others within FCSAmerica for further support and/or guidance.• Learn the Associations’ customer service management tool to accurately document interactions.Education Requirements• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ag Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or other related degree.• Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale• Demonstrated leadership abilities• Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)• Strong desire to pursue a career involving sales, marketing and territory management.• Available for a 12-week internship during the summerInternship Benefits• Qualified interns will receive a competitive hourly wage and $500 sign-on bonus• Relocation assistance is availableWe reserve the right to close this posting early if we receive a large number of qualified applicants.About UsFarm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica), AgCountry Farm Credit Services (AgCountry), and Frontier Farm Credit are financial cooperatives operating under joint management.
