Ergeon is founded by CS Ph.D. serial entrepreneurs Jiayue (Jenny) He and Odysseas Tstatalos. They picked this name to symbolize their joint passion for using tech to revolutionize work.


Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Account Manager to recruit and manage new installers. As the main point of contact for new installers, the Field Account Manager will be responsible for prospecting, trial period management, and account management of newly recruited installers. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and able to work independently.


Responsibilities

  • Connect with leads to build a partnership relationship and become the go-to specialist to support and manage the installers' needs.
  • Recruit new installers and get acceptance from them to work with us and move them to the trial phase.
  • Handoff newly recruited installers to the Sr PM of the region during the trial period.
  • Get the installer to sign the subcontractor agreement.
  • Keep a follow-up cadence to conduct checkpoints with the Installers on their portfolio (pipeline) to maintain Installer - Company relationship stable, healthy, and productive.
  • Review incentive structure with Installer and growth plan.
  • Review Installer metrics with Installer.
  • Obtain general feedback from Installer, requests, and inquiries.
  • Keep close communication with contractors in the trial phase.
  • Promote our values, answer questions, provide feedback, obtain insights, and share our standards in communications with contractors.

Desired Skills and Experience

Must have

  • 1 year of experience in remote recruiting.
  • 1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development in a related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and build relationships with clients.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to complete and appropriately document tasks in multi-step processes.
  • Tech savvy and quick to interface with multiple programs/websites/spreadsheets at once.

Nice to have

  • Prior knowledge in home services
  • Prior experience in construction project management
  • Training experience

  • Minimum of 8GB RAM
  • Minimum processor:
    • For Intel variants of CPUs:

    • For AMD variants of CPUs:
      • Ryzen 3, 3rd generation or higher

Stable high-speed internet connection

  • At least 5mbps upload and 20 Mbps download

Headset

  • With a noise cancelling microphone

Power backup

  • 250-300W UPS

Data availability

  • Ability to access up to 1.5GB of data per day during storm outages

Compensation

Monthly salary between $1,500- $1,750 USD, depending on experience and location.


  • Your final compensation will depend on your placement on our Career Ladder and will be calculated hourly.
  • You'll be paid weekly through Upwork (www.upwork.com), the platform we choose to hire and pay our Ergeoneers all over the world.

Additional important information

Location

  • This is a 100% remote position, for people located in the countries listed here.


Availability

  • The position is full-time, based on 40 hours per week.
  • Availability: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST
  • The expectation is to cover at least 40 scheduled hours that fall on any of the days mentioned above.

Bootcamp

  • Training period of 3 weeks including: 1-1 sessions, constant mentoring, teamwork, practical use and understanding of our technical tools, and live exercises to develop abilities.
  • You are going to be able to do a full immersion in the day-to-day job, enjoy our amazing company culture, make great friends, and learn a lot!
