Job Description

Position Description:

  • Collectively manage (All Platform) Abrams & Stryker vehicles, field execution business with our field operations counterparts from proposal through closeout to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements as outlined in applicable contract scope of work
  • Collaborate with field managers to collectively manage, plan and schedule overall profile for field execution requirements
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with multiple internal and external customers leading to highly successful partnerships
  • Engage with field managers to continuously improve CSO products and services related fielding, new equipment training, modifications, and sustainment maintenance in order to sustain and expand our business
  • Develop and manage budgets and budget trackers to ensure financial wellness of all assigned contracts. Includes completing ETC and EAC reviews monthly for finance CDRLs and Limitation of Cost Notices (LOCNs) and making adjustments as required.
  • Organize and host weekly meetings with field managers to discuss and maintain /course correct program and project activities and metrics
  • Provide or coordinate for engineering technical support to field teams for assigned GDLS families of vehicles as needed
  • Maintain assigned program and project balanced score card
  • Consolidate all assigned program efforts and metrics and provide to leadership in the desired format on a regular basis
  • Support the implementation of Safety, DEI, WSBM, ISO, Lean Six Sigma and other GDLS initiatives as required
  • Become knowledgeable on assigned products and families of vehicles


Position Requirements:

  • Must possess significant experience and past performance in working with USG customers
  • Have a working knowledge base in ACC contracts and associated financial management and tracking systems used by GDLS
  • Be proficient in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point) suite use
  • Must be capable of obtaining a secret DoD clearance
  • Must possess significant experience in program and project management elements
  • Must be customer focused and action oriented
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Must have excellent information management skills
  • Must be capable of business travel for extended durations to include serving as a customer liaison
  • Must have experience in proposal development and follow on contract negotiations
  • Must be proficient in written and verbal communication including briefing a small or large audience
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple task, and coordinate activities within deadlines
  • Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in Sustainment Program and Project Management activities
