Cleerly's solutions are supported by more than a decade of performing some of the world's largest clinical trials to identify important findings beyond symptoms that increase a person's risk of heart attacks.

About the Team

This role will report to the VP of Market Access & Reimbursement. You will work alongside Cleery's commercial and medical organizations' business units and platform teams. The commercial team is focused on establishing a new standard of care in cardiology, including creating national adoption and payer coverage and payment for our revolutionary automated coronary plaque quantification and characterization service.


About the Opportunity

This role is a strategic opportunity for a personable individual to engage with the payer community, educating them on our high-value technology, and establishing positive coverage and payment policies. You will work with the commercial organization to support sales and create payer-provider programs based on the value of Cleerly's transformative heart attack treatment and prevention pathway. This includes direct interactions with payers, providers, professional societies, and other advocates in the US. Under the direction of the VP of Market Access & Reimbursement, you will be responsible to:


Salary: $145,000 - $175,000


Responsibilities

  • Assess and maintain knowledge of payer reimbursement rules, regulations, and policies to enable engagements with payers and clients.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of payer medical and coverage policies with the ability to present clinical and economic evidence in a straightforward manner.
  • Establish relationships and meet with key payer contacts and RBMs to drive positive coverage policies and increase covered lives.
  • Develop and manage a network of KOLs, physician champions, and stakeholder groups to effectively engage with payers.
  • Work closely with sales and client success teams to assist clients with general reimbursement issues and support development of commercial strategy.
  • Develop supporting materials to engage effectively with individual payers.
  • Represent the company and fulfill other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of healthcare experience working on payer strategy for a life sciences company (medical device experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. payer landscape with established relationships with national and regional payers.
  • Highly skilled in building networks with payer contacts and clinicians / clients.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functional areas.
  • Ability to effectively make decisions and take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Remote position with ability to travel as required on the West Coast
