Job Description:

The File Transfer Specialist is responsible for exchanging data between our Payroll, HR, and Time and Labor products and the External partners that our clients use to provide other related services such as 401(k), benefits, banking, and benefit data. The File Transfer Specialist works directly with clients, client vendors, and our internal teams to successfully setup file transfers between Proliant and the client vendor on a recurring basis. Responsibilities include obtaining file specifications and transfer protocols and ensuring that custom exports are created, setup, and tested for each new file transfer. The position requires the individuals to be detail oriented and to be adaptable to learning different vendor software and file transmission protocols. File Transfer Specialist works to research issues with files and provide a timely resolution. The position is responsible for ensuring that all files are transmitted and confirmed on a daily basis according to client and vendor specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily files are transmitted timely and accurately
• Daily review, research, and correction of inbound and outbound file transfer issues
• Audit daily maintenance activities across multiple data/scheduling integration systems
• Research transmissions and payroll data to respond to inquiries from customers, external partners, and internal support staff.
• Setup new File Transfers for Clients

Job Requirements:

• Excellent customer service, telephone and listening skills; Prior customer service experience required
• Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
• Professional demeanor and excellent judgment
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and ability to multi-task
• Strong PC skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Aptitude for learning new software and SQL queries
• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED- great opportunity for recent college graduates!

Compensation: $16- $18/ hour
