Overview:
The Finance Analyst will be generally involved working in a support capacity for the Finance Team. As such, they will find themselves partnering with members of the finance and portfolio management teams with a particular focus on bank financing of whole loans, securities and general corporate purposes. The Finance Analyst will be responsible to manage the administrative side of lending transactions including: counterparty exposure monitoring; counterparty renewal and expiration; covenant tracking and reporting; financing transaction management; financial counterparty Due Diligence coordination etc… The Finance Analyst will be located in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution:
Renewals

Coordinate the term sheet negotiation, and legal documents process;

Manage the Due Diligence coordination, including internal and external scheduling, due diligence summary deck preparation, diligence meeting execution, and manage the post-diligence follow up;

Manage Bank inquiries for Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”), and Anti-Money-Laundering (“AML”)
New Financing
-
Coordinate the term sheet negotiation, and legal document process;

Manage the Due Diligence coordination, including internal and external scheduling, due diligence deck preparation, diligence meeting execution, and manage the post-diligence follow up;

Finance Portfolio Management:

Administration of agreed upon financial covenants, and transaction related financial triggers;

Internal communication of financial covenants, and transaction related triggers;

Formalization of procedures surrounding financings being “booked”;

Monthly Management Reporting (Dashboard of Triggers, Covenants);
-
Counterparty risk assessment;
-
Legal document organization and administration;
-
Legal document and transaction internal communications;
-
Finance Group Calendar (renewals, new transactions, transaction management, pipeline integrated with Portfolio Management – Pipeline)
Finance Market Coverage:
Maintain current finance levels across asset classes, structures, and banks
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, flexible, hands-on and able to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment;

Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracy;

Strong capacity for diligent follow-up across multiple projects;

Advanced skills in Excel, and all other Microsoft Office Suite applications

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting;

A minimum 1 year banking/finance/accounting experience (or similar)
