Position Summary: ZF is looking for an innovative, motivated, and passionate student to add value to our team in a Finance Internship role. While providing valuable real-world experience, ZF’s internship program will sharpen your technical skills, diversify your network, and enhance your professional development.

Responsibiliites:

• Participate in the analysis of financial statements including consolidation and reporting of the financial performance of the organization.
• Gather information to confirm existence of all fixed assets at the site and collaborate to confirm all fixed assets off-site
• Assist with accounts receivable collection efforts for the site
• Interface with other functions within the greater Finance group and project-based organizations to carry out strategies for the management of financial risk and ensure the adequacy of financial resources to support day-to-day and long-term objectives
• Participate in trial balance preparation and review
• Weekly support for running transactional reports for business review
• Gather and analyze data to tracking customer owned R&D
• Facilitate master data creation and changes for G/L accounts, customers, suppliers and pricing
• Support finance with SAP journal entries
• Gather, analyze, and manage data from a variety of information systems and resources
• Support finance with key administrative duties
• Ad hoc analysis/reporting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. Enrolled full-time at an accredited university majoring in accounting or finance or a closely related engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Display personal maturity and a high level of professionalism
