This Opportunity

Syneos Health’s Finance Intern Program is seeking several summer interns to join us to work on financial analysis for clinical research studies on behalf of our customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your education, skills, and knowledge in Finance to real work in progress as well as gain exposure to customer-facing finance processes.

What You’ll Do

Analyze and report on-going operations
Forecast financial and non-financial trends
Support internal planning and management accounting functions
Prepare external reports for customers
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and business case modeling per business requirements
Assist with monthly forecasting processes as well as with month and quarter-end close activities and reporting processes
Engage in continuous process improvement efforts to streamline financial planning and budget management processes for efficiency and accuracy

Your Skills & Expertise

Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with Finance/Accounting concentration
Past internship experience or project work in financial analysis
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Excel, Oracle, and Power BI is a plus
