Financial Analyst - Corporate Reporting (Client Direct Hire Position)

UHY is assisting a client based in Auburn Hills, MI and they are seeking a Financial Analyst - Corporate Reporting to support their organization. Candidates must possess a CPA or be actively pursuing certification, have large company / consolidations experience, and Public Company experience. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Post monthly close consolidating and top-side journal entries.
• Review the monthly consolidation to ensure intercompany balances are eliminated and follow-up with global plant locations as necessary.
• Perform monthly and quarterly analytical reviews and reconciliations for certain accounts.
• Support the global locations with various questions/requests related to their monthly close.
• Assist with inquiries from internal and external audit.
• Provide support, as needed, on SEC filings preparation, which may include preparation of footnotes and tie-outs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA preferred
• 1-3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in OneStream preferred
• SEC reporting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Highly driven / self-starter

Pay: $70,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
