Financial Analyst

This FP&A position is based at MACOM Lowell, MA corporate headquarters and reports into the Sr. Finance Manager.


Position Summary

The position will be a key member of the FP&A team with the responsibility of providing accurate data based information pertaining to company’s operational expenses, capital expenditures, AOP, and quarterly forecasts to help company make well informed decisions, generate reports and monitor financial fluctuations.

The position requires a high energy, results oriented person with strong enterprise accounting skills with the ability to multi-task while creating high quality financial reporting in a multi-divisional business environment.


Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with Director of FP&A and Manager to facilitate management reporting and forecasting process.
  • Support the development of the annual business plan and strategic goal setting process including the creation of presentation templates and financial models
  • Consolidate and gather financial inputs for capital expenditures, sales-order backlog reconciliation, and operational expenses.
  • Responsible for internal reporting on employee headcount, CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Generate management reports from Business Warehouse (BW), SAP analytics cloud (SAC).
  • Responsible for the specific corporate accounting monthly closing activities including, journal entries, revenue reserve analyses, and capitalization of fixed assets.
  • Conducts financial studies and analyses as requested by management


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
  • 3+ years of finance and or accounting experience in the technology industry.
  • Strong enterprise systems skills (SAP a plus) and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office products.
  • General knowledge of financial reporting systems (SAC a plus).
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced closing environment.
