Position Overview:
Engages with the DN Cash Management, Service and Sales teams and with customers and third-party suppliers (cash in transit) to analyze claims of physical cash loss in service scenarios, including contracts that involve shared liabilities. The loss prevention team’s primary responsibility is to limit DN’s liability by responding to claims in a timely manner – investigating circumstances and working with third party suppliers and customers to communicate findings and ensure appropriate response and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gains familiarity with loss prevention concepts, practices and methodologies
- With guidance, performs basic loss prevention duties within a single geography; duties include:
- Receiving and logging claims
- Performing analysis on claims involving loss on a shared responsibility contract
- Reviewing evidence retrieved from self-service channels to support investigation of reported loss
- Maintaining documented loss prevention standards and operating procedures
- Collecting, analyzing and reporting on loss prevention metrics
- Learns and adheres to company loss prevention standards and policies
- Assists with special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience ideally in Loss Prevention or equivalent role
- Good business English skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of working with data, driving analytics and reporting
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and delivery to timelines
- Conceptual knowledge of loss prevention processes , ideally gained in a Retail or Banking product environment
- Demonstrated relationship building skills
- Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams
