Job Title: Financial Systems Analyst

Clark Associates is seeking a driven and motivated Financial Systems Analyst to join our growing company. We are excited to offer this as a hybrid position. In this position, you will be working to develop a detailed understanding of our financial systems while managing communication between various teams. This position provides the opportunity to be involved in the research, design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of automated and manual accounting systems and processes.
Successful candidates will have a passion for excellence, be self-motivated, and possess the ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize workload. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are necessary.
As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
Utilize knowledge of existing systems and processes to create a comprehensive accounting focused system map.- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for accounting system enhancements or new system implementations.
- Evaluate manual and automated accounting processes, systems, and procedures for efficiency of workflow.
- Design and configure accounting system modules, workflows, and reports to meet user requirements and optimize financial processes.
- Work effectively in a collaborative and innovative team-oriented environment.
- Conduct or obtain evaluations of system performance and make modifications as necessary.
- Complete ad hoc data projects and requests as needed.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including finance and accounting teams, on the effective use of accounting systems and related tools.
Looking for driven, motivated candidates who have:
Education or experience in financial or IT related fields (Business Administration, Accounting, Business Information
Systems etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong self-management skills and ability to adjust as needed to meet shifting priorities
- Ambition and passion about technology and e-commerce
- Desire to learn a variety of business activities
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL preferred
- Understanding of the Scrum development process preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerBi, Visio)
