About the Opportunity:
First Help Financial, voted and certified as a “Great Place to Work” by our workforce for three years in a row, is adding a new partner to our Credit Division team to accommodate our remarkable growth!
What you will do:
You will report directly to the Chief Credit Officer, and the duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the development of next generation credit programs for FHF. This includes the market segment identification, competitor analysis, development of credit rules, integration of analytic models and scorecards, smooth implementation of AI automation and API tools.
- Lead and partner with operational departments (Sales, Credit, Funding, and more) to improve program offerings.
- Oversee and develop a group of program and market research managers.
- Partner with other senior-level executives in sales, operations, finance, and technology to drive the strategic credit program(s) agenda of the company.
- Plans and oversees ongoing credit program excellence that aligns with company goals.
- Heads the development and execution of a detailed program strategy.
- Drives initiatives and fosters continuous improvements of existing programs by leveraging data-driven insights and utilizing best course of action to optimize program performance.
- Collaborates across multiple departments and stakeholders and coordinates progress toward program objectives by maintaining effective communication at all levels.
What You Bring:
- At least 10 years of experience in credit program development and management, credit rule creations and implementations using advanced analytic models and technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing teams.
- Expert ability to understand and interpret advanced analytics, ML models, and technology usage for program management.
- Expertise in gathering competitor intelligence, programs, and implementing credit risk policy and guidelines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
- Experience in auto finance (Sales a big plus) and strong leadership skills.
- Strong project management skills.
