Location: On site in Memphis, TN, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, New Orleans, LASUMMARYResponsible for review and monitoring commercial credit quality and credit risk management practices in centralized lending units, regional markets and specialty lines of business to ensure compliance with bank policy, strategy, risk appetite and tolerance. Most experienced in their respective areas and handle multiple major complex commercial reviews/projects.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES-Identify, assess and report credit risks in various Bank loan portfolios through Credit Assurance Services (CAS) process, including but not limited to transactional review & targeted exam.-Assess and report the effectiveness of Credit Risk Management process in various lending and lending support areas.-Assess and report the Bank's effectiveness in operating within established credit policy, risk appetite and tolerance. Provide recommendations and influence a sound Credit Management and internal control environment.-Lead different types of exams/projects and handle reviews of complex commercial credits.-Identify, assess and report credit risks in various Bank loan portfolios through Credit Assurance Services (CAS) process, including but not limited to portfolio/unit monitoring.-Serves as Desk Officer for assigned portfolios/units (generally 2 or more) - monitor and report credit quality, credit risk management and emerging risks based on activities including but not limited to review of continuous & targeted exam review results, review of portfolio and industry information, and interaction with Line and Credit Risk Management.-Track and follow up on Moderate-High level issues identified in CAS and regulatory exams, including validating corrective action plan results.-Complete department reports and/or special projects as assigned.-Provide mentoring/training to other team members.JOB REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree required, but master's is preferred.• 8 to 10 years required of Commercial loan/credit review, credit analysis , underwriting, portfolio management. 10+ preferred experienceAbout UsFirst Horizon is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
