Corporate Finance Intern

Job Overview:As a Corporate Finance Intern, you'll have the opportunity to shadow and learn from the members of our Corporate Accounting team. You'll be responsible for assisting with various a accounting tasks.Your Responsibilities:• Support the corporate finance team as they work to improve tools within the department to be more efficient with deadlines, projects, etc.• Process/review improvements and contract management system implementation for New York market.• Deposit cash receipts and post them to the accounting system.• Miscellaneous month end close imports and bank reconciliations.• Assist in collections support.• Revenue review/contractual fees (abstract audit).• Billing review/analysis based off of contractual fees• Assist in consolidation processes/analysis to ensure legacy data aligns with goals of projects.• Self-audit work and use tools provided to ensure work product is accurate and thoroughly complete.Qualifications & Skills:• Must be a rising college junior or senior.• Must be comfortable with email/Microsoft Teams communication.• Comfortable with systems and importing /exporting data.• Proficient in excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, manipulating large sets of data while maintaining integrity).• Strong attention to detail.• Organized and detail oriented.Compensation:$16 / hour
